I did a little photo test this weekend. Tried to add some different emotions into my images. I figured whiskey always helps with emotion, right?

in spite of the fact that polaroid is shutting down (don't worry, i have a lot of film), i still think today is going to be a good day. this shot captures my mood.

the rain we had destroyed all of our roses. thankfully i have this polaroid to remind me how lovely they were.

instead i am preparing to sit on the 5 freeway for several hours, and i assure you, that does not make for a beautiful polaroid.

probably one of my favorite things to shoot. the diffused light is just what the polaroid needs.

Andrew and Lamb

Andrew cooked rack of lamb for me the other night. It was delicious. Read all about it here. He thought my story made him sound dumb (because of the "leathery meat" comment). I thought it made him sound sweet. For the record, he is the best husband a girl could ask for and the smartest person I know. He is one of those "knowledge retainers." He learns something once, and never has to relearn it. I, on the other hand, have a brain like a sieve. I have to keep pouring the same information into it day after day, and just hope eventually it will stick.
