it's a sunny day here in southern california. a bit of a chill, at least for us (i.e. i am still insisting on wearing my cashmere hoodie and wool slippers that look like foot sweaters). the reality is that spring is on its way and i couldn't be happier. mostly because that means trader joe's will have bunches of peonies. my very favorite.

Peonies and Trader Joes. Heaven.
Personally, I enjoy the miniature potted bushes of pink and white heather and TJ's own Belgian Truffle Brownie mix! But maybe it'll be peonies for me this season!

I love peonies! What a cool picture of them. I don't, however, love Trader Joe's. I prefer a little less plastic-wrapped, a little less traveled on a truck from all over food.
peonies are gorgeous!! my bf's mom has them growing abundantly in her garden all through spring/summer. love them.
I almost skipped over this shot and now I am glad I did not.
