Finally!

I am starting to feel better. I was even able to take some photos yesterday. I was starting to get a bit nervous. Thought I might not ever take another one. I guess it is just hard to be inspired when you are sick.

really?

yes, really. i am still sick. definitely better than before, but not as "better" as i would like to be. i never realized how much the flu can impair your creativity. plus, now that polaroid film is so precious, i don't want to waste it. i plan to wake up feeling great tomorrow. please, please let me wake up and feel great tomorrow. here is a shot i took before my creative juices stopped flowing. thought it would be cool in a kitchen or dining room. little ghosts.

Seeing as I am still feeling quite sick, I have decided to tele-transport myself to a happier time and place. Las Vegas, 2004 and the now defunct Stardust hotel and casino.

The flu

I was blind sided last week by the flu. No fun. I didn't want you to think I had disappeared altogether. I'm just laying low and letting this thing pass. Think of all the polaroid I've saved over the last few days.

How I Feel

This is how I feel today. Heading into 3 days of shooting, so you probably won't hear much from me. On top of that I am either getting sick or have been poisoned by toxic spray paint. Either way I feel awful, but must carry on.

camelias

the camelias are in bloom! the camelias are in bloom! hip hip hooray. so, i did what any girl in her right mind would do, i plucked them all of the bush outside of our house and took some photos.

Lost Deer

Spent a bunch of time this weekend buying things I absolutely, positively did not need, like bottle brush christmas trees and small plastic reindeer. At least I had fun, right?
