4 years ago today our friend bobbi took this picture of us in vegas. we had been married for about an hour.
my arms were thinner.
my waist was thinner.
our wallets were fatter.
still, i wouldn't go back. i like where i'm going. i like where we're going. it's not always easy, but i'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be. no trip to paris this year. that's ok. we took lots of pictures, and the ones andrew took where on slide film. we love slideshows. so tonight, we'll eat dinner by candlelight, drag out the slide projector and reminisce.
sounds pretty darn good to me.

happy anniversary! we didn't go to paris this year either and i was just starting to feel bummed. but now i'm inspired to celebrate anyway and maybe eat cheese and pastries for dinner.

what a amazing way to spend your anniversary! I found a old slide projector from the 50's on a hard rubbish pile in my street (complete with old slides of someones honeymoon in africa in 1958 and a vintage screen to view them on! it was almost too good to be true! sllides are the best :)
Congratulations! It sounds wonderful. And even though I've seen this photo before, and love looking at it, I never noticed the spray painted "las vegas" peeking out until today. Just perfect. =)
