Baaaaaaaaaaaaaa-d

That pretty much describes my week, without boring you with all of the details. I don't know what is worse, having a couple of bad weeks, or admitting to having a couple of bad weeks. I pride myself on staying very positive, even in the most challenging of situations and I am completely aware that a "bad week" for me, is still a pretty darn good week for a lot of other people. I remain very grateful for all that I have, cause I have a lot! It's just that sometimes, I can't help but get kind of pissed and want to break every plate in the cupboard. I didn't, but I really, really wanted to. I actually think I screamed at the top of my lungs, "Oh my God! I'm gonna break every plate in the cupboard. I am! I'm SERIOUS!!!"

PS. How great is this mask? Can I wear it out in public or is that weird? It's weird, right?

someone told me once that sometimes things are going to be crappy and it's easier/better to just accept it rather than try to keep a stiff upper lip. it worked for me during the worst time in my life. it alleviated the pressure to be happy like everyone else.

as far as the mask, go ahead and wear it. "they" won't know who it is anyway.

hang in there.

: ( I was wondering about how you were doing this week. When it rains, it pours. Hope things get better for you this weekend.

The mask is awesome!

Oh, gosh. I have to admit it: just reading about when other people have bad days/weeks makes it easier to deal with mine! You are so not alone. And I have to tell you, one of my absolute best friends/godmother had a barrel in her back yard, and a whole cupboard full of dispensible dishes. With no shame, she would go out with a stack of plates occasionally, and smash them in her barrel with vigor. ;)

Oops, sorry - the comment from "mr. e-mcg" was actually from Heather [my husband was logged in and I didn't realize it when I commented). :)

its would be a bit weird. but perhaps you could wear it while breaking all the plates. Just make sure to leave one plate to eat dinner on.

hang in there.

that mask is the greatest! I would wear it. especially when I'm having a bad day...plastic cute farm animal is always more appropriate than scowl.

Wearing the mask in public may be seen by some as wierd yes :) but they wont be able to tell who it is anyway so who cares? not you!!

well done on staying possitive, through a bad wek, altho may i recomend throwing a pillow around a room? you dont hurt yourself or anything else, but it gets rid of your stres very effectively...

I feel ya sister- I'm having a bad SUMMER. Worst ever- and try to stay positive but sometimes you just need to break some plates. Your only human.

maybe something was in the air because the last two weeks were ass for me too! and again, what's worse - talking about it or not? ugh. I visualized myself throwing things and really had to try not to actually do it. I finally went in the pool and kicked my legs AS HARD AND FAST AS I COULD....it helped.

I know how you feel. I had the same type of week last week. Hope I can cheer you up a little by saying that I have just found your wonderful blog and I think it is very cute and kitsch.
The mask is um...rather interesting. Wear it out and take photos!
